how to let go without shutting down
i used to think stoicism was just emotional repression. what i’ve learned is that it’s actually about feeling your emotions fully, then choosing how you respond from a place of clarity. and i never realized how many of my decisions weren’t actually in alignment with my values, because my reasoning was always clouded by emotion.
shoutout to @filmcooper for reminding me it’s okay to leave in the stutters — it helped me stop over-editing and show up more authentically. thats prob where the extra 14+ minutes came from lol
